Hellas of Rhodes Captivates Athens at Symposio at Ark

Hellas restaurant from Rhodes travelled to Athens for a special one-night appearance at Ark in Glyfada, participating in Symposio at Ark, the culinary institution that showcases distinguished restaurants from across Greece. Awarded the Top Notch distinction by the Athinorama Golden Chef’s Hats, Hellas presented a menu that highlighted modern Greek cuisine with a strong Rhodian character.

Chef-owner Kyriakos Iakovidis, chef Eirini Georgioudiou, and Swan by Kontiki’s Executive Chef, Lefteris Dreris, collaborated to create dishes defined by clean flavours, technical precision, and personal references to the gastronomic heritage of Rhodes.

Among the standout creations were the Lindian shrimp with cold Rosò pasta, the seafood yaprakia, the seafood pastitsio, and the iconic Melekouni in a contemporary interpretation. Guests warmly embraced the evening, reaffirming Hellas as a true ambassador of Rhodian cuisine.
