Meet Our Chef

Our chef Kyriakos Iakovidis was born in May 1986 and grew up in Pefki, a village on the island of Rhodes. At the age of 16 he left the village to study cooking. Since then he has not stopped looking for ways to evolve gastronomically.

He continued his learning career in a awarded Michelin restaurant and has attended many seminars around the world in the field of cooking and confectionery by renowned professionals in their field.

His “thirst” for knowledge is complemented by his studies in oenology, as he does not stop looking for new gastronomic challenges.

His steady rise as a chef and his continuous development have made the Hellas restaurant one of the most emblematic gastronomic places of the island.

Eirini Georgoudiou

Irini was born and raised in Rhodes. She started cooking before going to school in a hotel, where at the same time she graduated from the basic cooking school, did a master’s degree in gourmet cooking, pastry and several culinary trips. Pursuing culinary experiences in seminars, meeting renowned chefs in the industry and reading cookbooks.

At the age of 25 she managed to win the first title in a European competition (EUROPEAN YOUNG CHEF 2019), to be honored with the title of the best Greek young chef for 2020 by the organization 100 BEST RESTAURANTS and the Title of the First Greek TOP CHEF in 2021.

With great dedication to the profession, she managed to keep her name among the top chefs of the island and Greece through the awards of Hellas Restaurant.
